Bob - actually, the recent Email response was not an auto reply - or at least it was basically a one-liner that said "we have procedures for this" so - if it was NOT an auto reply and it took the time to type it out - then at least a "thank you" for letting us know - would have been more appropriate. It really is nice when a "customer" takes the time to inform their "vendor" of a problem with the "product" and the vendor tells them to take a hike - or you have to call the right line to report problems......... geesh - ALL of these local ISPs need a big dose of reality and customer service. they have no room for comlaining about Ameritech, or other hardware/software vendors, unless they can reflect a better attitude themselves. But - that would be contrary to the "gatekeeper" mentality - WE know UNIX, and WE know how to get around on OUR system - WE know the addresses you should be using - and WE know how to run a system - so - if you are too F'ing dumb to figure it out - then YOU must have a problem! nice overall attitude - don't find much of that attitude in real world MIS departments in real companies anymore, at least not those still with jobs.... >>>> /*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/ Imagination is more important than knowledge.....
