Thanks to everyone who pointed me to monoprice.com for Cat5 cables.  
Ended up with 2 100 footers in the color pink for $30 all day ($8 
shipping).  Microcenter had 50 footers (no color choice) close to that 
price with tax and it didn't even seem like they had 100 footers.  
Monoprice seems like a reliable outfit.
