The next regular meeting of the /usr/group/chicago email sig, commonly
known as the Clout Project administration, will take place at the home
of Doug Blair in Naperville at 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 3, 1993.  These
meetings are open to all interested parties, but if you plan to attend
please notify the host at the address below so that appropriate pizza
portions can be arranged.  Directions and agenda follow:

I don't have a formal agenda for this meeting yet, but the issues
to be discussed will undoubtedly include:

	Clout routing with smail 3.1.27 not .28 due to memory leak
	Reduction in user accounts on clout per UofC request
	Receipt of any formal directives from /usr/group/chicago board
	Any remaining detected/detectable security issues on clout
	Selection of new chairperson to conduct meetings/take notes
		(Greg has been doing a great job, but has other time
		 committments and asked to step down)
	Selection of toppings (very important) *
	Appointment of new postmaster of the month

My personal plea:

Since smooth operation of the clout project affects ALL of us in the
Chicago area who send mail to or from sites in the .chi.il.us domain
and since this subject has received considerable attention lately 
(understatement of the year??) anyone who has knowledge of any remaining 
security problems associated with this machine is encouraged to bring 
these to our attention at this meeting.  Please note that we are concerned 
in this case with issues of software (SunOS, smail, etc) and hardware 
(terminal server, modems, internet connection, CPU Sun 3/50, etc) NOT with 
the suitability of any individual for this task.  The clout project runs 
donated hardware and software with volunteer staff and the Chicago area 
computing community is collectively grateful for ANY contributed expertise 
or materials for this project.

Directions to meeting site:

We will meet in Fifth Avenue Station, the converted Kroehler Furniture
factory at 200 East Fifth Avenue in Naperville.  From all points:

	Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) or Tri-State Tollway 
		(I-294) or North-South Tollway (I-355) to the East-West 
		Tollway westbound and exit at Naperville Road. Computer-
		Geek landmark: Interactive/Lachman building on exit ramp!
	Go South (right) on Naperville Road (forks left to become Naper 
		Boulevard) to Ogden Avenue (US 34) (second stop light,
		about 0.6 mile).
	Go West (right) on Ogden Avenue to Washington Street (fourth stop
		light, about 1.8 miles).  
	Go South (left) on Washington Street to Fifth Avenue (first stop
		light, about 0.3 mile).  IF you go under the Burlington-
		Northern tracks and enter downtown Naperville, you've 
		gone too far).
	Go East (left) on Fifth Avenue two blocks to Fifth Avenue Station,
		park in front lot, enter through green doors, go into mall,
		go to residence entrance and dial 667 on security phone.
		We'll take it from there.
