One of my neighbors tried to give away a perfectly good working mid 20 something inch CRT TV last fall and had no takers. For a couple of minutes I had considered taking it to storage in case of situations like this -- watching football games. But alas, I was too lazy to carry it 100 feet. Not sure if he ever got a "buyer." I'm afraid if I set up the TV I'll be like an ex-smoker taking a couple of puffs for old time sake. Next thing you know I'll be transfixed on the lives of those Two Broke Girls. BTW: You know what goes on with two good looking broke girls? Truman Capote once directed an entire movie about a good looking broke girl featuring the most beautiful and talented actress of that time. Most people never picked up that Audrey's character was a working girl in The Profession. I doubt sitcoms can get away with being so subtle because TV viewing audience are considered too stupid.
