I dunno if these are still up, meant to mention this a while ago (probably
since the winter) but I was wondering if anyone had a backstory.

There was a number of advertising billboards put up around the north side
(think addison/western was one) where it had a picture of former governor
blago on it and the tag line/catch phrase of something like "he never
listens".

It was for a radio station, wild guess AM 820, but I noticed a couple months
after they were up, his face got covered with one of those giant yellow
smiley faces.

I was wondering if there was a lawsuit or reason his face got covered.

I think he qualifies for a public figure, so it's not like he was owed
royalties or anything, plus it seems it was sort of a joke/jab at him, the
picture would seem to be not in the slander/libel vein either.

Anyone know?

I don't know but if I were to guess I would bet it's just part of that
radio station's marketing plan. Dumping on Blago seems a bit mean now.
They probably thought a 60s smiley face would lessen the meanness. And
since everyone has seen that billboard for quite awhile now, they all
must be wondering like you.

That's advertising gold right there. Now which radio station was that
again?

Guess it was considered "mean".
