In _Nostalgia Digest_ for Spring quarter, Chuck Schaden announced his
retirement as his 75th birthday is coming up. He's hosted _Those Were The
Days_ (1 pm till 5 pm Saturdays, WDCB FM 90.9) for 39 years. He recently
broadcast his 2000th show and May 2 will be the 39th anniversary show.

His final broadcast will be June 27. Steve Darnell will be the program's
new host. Ken Alexander will also continue to participate in the program.

I've been listening to this show and his other shows since the early
'70's, not quite since the beginning.
