I have been hearing a very disturbing commercial about some outfit
selling testosterone for men to lose their belly fat and become more of
a man to their women. The commercial only gives an 800 number but it
might be this outfit:

http://www.innerthrive.com/ultimate-natural-testosterone-system.php

I don't get it. How can this be legal? I thought doing excess
testosterone had all kinds of bad side effects yet none were mentioned
in the radio ad.

They also have some kind of hormone treatment for women so they too can
lose belly fat.

OK, I'll bite.

In the first place, your cite is a scam deal. There are all kinds of
companies hawking testosterone boosters and shit. They do nothing but take
your money.

I've mentioned this before, and I'll bring it up again. I've been
hypogonadnal for ~14 years, and have been on testosterone therapy for 12.
You will probably know if you need it. You get dumber than a fucking box of
rocks and your cognitive process takes a nose dive.

I know that we're going to get some nominees out of that.

My brother is an internist and taught at U of I Med for years. He's the one
that got me to get a hormone panel done, where we found out I was producing
about enough testosterone for a field mouse.

After several attempts to restore the natural HPT balance, HMG injections,
then HCG injections (no joy), I tried the gel. Terrible, terrible results.
My estrogen level went to the point that I thought I'd lactate.

Finally settled on once a week injections, and life has been sweet since
then.

There's a lot to this, Mark. If you are thinking in that direction, research
and questions are mandatory.

As for women, my brother did female health in his practice also. Yes, there
are a lot of treatments for women that are very effective all the way
frommenopause and hot flashes to libido.

The most asked for thing was a testosterone cream especially for women. It's
very low-dose, and very effective.

I mean, they don't wanna grow a beard or sumptnin'. ;-)

One very valid thing in your post was doing "excess" testosterone has bad
side effects. Very, very true, more ain't better, and body builders fight
that constantly from their excessive juicing.

I in no way whatsoever ever ever ever would try and prescribe myself
something like this. But this commercial wasn't meant for people like
me and I don't think it was meant for people who have a valid reason
from a real doctor for hormone treatment.

I don't want to live in a world where people pump themselves up with
testosterone like they do with Red Bull and vodka. And yet the world
still insists pot remain illegal.

I'm not a medical expert but I don't remember any connection between
testosterone and belly fat.

I'm pretty sure those commercials and that website are scams, it's not
testosterone they are selling, that I think is prescription only and has to
be monitored by a doctor.

The stuff you are seeing is like powdered newt claws or some other "ancient
chinese secret" which probably doesn't do anything expect raise your heart
rate or blood pressure so you feel different.

The same stuff was probably marketed last year as a fast weight reduction
magical powder and likely some kind of get-100-miles-per-gallon fuel
additive before that.

It's just crap to vacuum out your wallet.

The real stuff, testosterone and estrogen for women are really dangerous
stuff to re-introduce into your body, supposedly triggers any cancer cells
floating around to high speed duplication mode besides possible major organ
failures.

Anyone claiming to sell it that doesn't require a prescription is just
selling fairy dust.

Uh, Mark? Looking at boobies raises testosterone levels and doesn't have
any harmful side effects unless you get punched.
