"State Sen. Ron Sandack, R-21st District, of Downers Grove has no
business cards to hand out just yet.The state doesn’t have any money,”
he quipped.
Though only a joke, this summed up Sandack’s attitude about the
state’s problems and Republicans’ options in so far as offering
solutions.

Sandack, who is also mayor of Downers Grove, was appointed senator of
the 21st District at the end of 2010 when Dan Cronin stepped down
...........
Sandack sees a scenario in which the state can break its obligations
to state workers’ pensions.

“There’s less people paying, more people taking and that’s a problem,”
he said. “When I (speak with) a retired Downers Grove firefighter, I
say, ‘Thank you for your service, but you’re costing us more off the
dole than you ever did on it,’” Sandack said."

Won't it be nice when you get your General Assembly Pension, Ronnie ??
