Consulta Pilas recargables y Palm

Estimados,

Me compre (usada por supuesto) una palm M125.
Con pilas duracell funciona sin problema, pero le puse unas
pilas recargables y no prende.

Alguien tiene idea si necesito pilas de un amperaje en particular
para arriba  o algo?

Agradezco cualquier ayuda, no quiero quedarme con otro par de pilas
inutilizadas.
