Announcing OSU's 22nd Annual Medieval and Renaissance Festival

   On Saturday, May 3, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Ohio State students and
faculty will recreate of the legend of King Arthur and his times on
the South Oval.  There will be jugglers, musicians, magicians,
swordfighters and dancers, as well as numerous activities that
everyone can take part in.  There are also food and crafts reminiscent
of the Renaissance available for purchase, as well as festival posters
and T-shirts.

   The Festival is sponsored by the Ohio Union Programs Office and
the University Honors Center.  The event is free and open to the
public.  In case of rain, the festival will move inside the Ohio
Union, 1739 N. High St.

   To complement the Arthurian theme of this years festival we are
showing the movies Dragonheart and Excaliber.  On Friday may second
Dragonheart will be shown at 7:00 PM and Excaliber will be shown at
9:30.  During the festival day Dragon heart will be shown at noon and
2:30.  Excaliber will be shown at 7:00 and 9:30 that evening.  All
showings will be in the Ohio Union Conference Theater, and are free of
all OSU students.

   We are still looking for volunteers to help us set up for the
festival in the morning, and help run things during the day.  If you
