MS Exchange is allowing our site to be used as a spam server

We have recently been getting reports in our log files about outgoing
messages. The messages are not originating from our site and there are
loads them!

It seems that anyone can connect to our SMTP port and send messages to who
they like.

There must be a setting in MS Exchange to stop people, outside of our site,
from using our server to send email. Can anyone tell me how to do it? MS
Exchange is a jungle as far as tabbed dialog boxes go and Help is rubbish.

Any help would be highly appreciated

Thanks

Brett Graham

P.S. If emailing, remember to remove the REMOVE-O-SPAM bit, you'll be
surprised how many people don't.
