Can anybody tell me how to create a roaming user profile in WINNT.
Please tell it step by step.

A bit too involved to explain in just a few lines but, essentially it is the
following:

On the server, each user should have a Home directory where the profile
settings (and the USER.DAT) will be stored.

On each machine where roving users will log on, User Profiles must be turned
on (see Control Panel > Passwords). This will create a Profiles directory
under the Windows directory on the local machine. Under this Profiles
directory, each user will have his/her own settings, copied from the Network
Home directory each time they log on.
