I'm using a Boca 14.4 internal fax modem with >a 16450 UART. Any suggestions? Replace it with a serial card that has 16550's and a world blazer. You will double your speed without even trying. Using my WB and a serial card with just 16450s on a Dos box and uupc, I regularly get 1800+ cps to wariat, hernix and elektro. That is dos, which when means that the only thing that is happening on my machine when uucico is running is UUCICO. That aside, does the waffle you are using have support for the 16450's? Can you replace the 16450's with 16550's? Later. Dan -- Dan Brown brown@eff.org
