JUNE 1993 MEETING

The June 1993 meeting takes place Wednesday, June 9 at the LDI Computer Super-
store in Oakwood Village. LDI's east side store is located on Broadway
Avenue at the I-271 Broadway/Forbes interchange.

Speaking at this meeting will be Jill Haviland of Answer Software.
This Columbus firm has just released a version of the X11R5 package which
will run on Coherent, and they will be talking about this package, along
with some other topics.

The meeting runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

We will be taking a break in July and August and our next meeting will
be in September.

You do not need to be a member of GCPCUG to attend.

If you have questions or need directions, please contact coordinator
Steve Sobol at (216) 691-1169.

ANNOUNCEMENTS OF UNIX SIG MEETINGS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH VOICE MAIL!

You may now receive announcements of UNIX SIG meetings and other events
through a voice mail system operated by the Cleveland Computer Society.
You must have a touch-tone phone to take advantage of this system.

Dial 216-781-8CCS (8227) and listen to the voice prompts. You may jump to a
specific mailbox directly; the UNIX SIG's mailbox is 77. To go to a
specific mailbox, enter that mailbox's number and follow it with the
pound sign (#). After the recorded message, you may record your own
message for the SIG coordinator.

Some useful mailboxes are, as mentioned before, 77 for the UNIX SIG;
70 for a list of other SIGs and 32 for announcments about GCPCUG's main
meetings. Most of these pre-recorded messages will be telling you the
date and time and the topic of the next meeting. GCPCUG is not the
only group involved in this system... there are several other Northeast
Ohio user groups that also have mailboxes. This is a good way to stay
up-to-date!
