Here a few suggestions, from my very limited knowledge: The two largest real estate brokers in the N.E. Ohio area have their own websites: http://www.smythecramer.com http://www.realtyone.com Both of these have a group that assists with relocation assistance that can help. There's at least one real estate seller magazine on line for the area: http://www.harmonhomes.com The local newspaper, The Cleveland Plain Dealer has both ads and real estate sections. The do publish occasional sections on living the the City of Cleveland, as well as the usual suburb oriented stuff. http://www.plaindealer.com If you are looking at moving here, I'd suggest you arrange a month's subscription, of the Sunday edition, but the good Real Estate section is in a weekday edition. The Plain Dealer runs a local ad and info website which provides lots of misc. information and ads that can be of interest: http://www.cleveland.com The local real estate agencies are most cooperative. There are a couple of small ones the specialize in certain areas, some inside the city. The local yellow pages listings are at http://yp.ameritech.net you can look up any busines or institutional number here easily. The City of Cleveland has some assistance available, but I'm unaware of the exact nature of their programs. There are also a couple of quasi governmental agencies. Calling the Mayor's office of the main switchboard number should get you to someone who can steer you to the right place. Also, one of the city's finest institutions is its library. The people at the Main Branch downtown at the reference desk specialize in all types of info and referrals. Calling them would be worthwhile, they'd assist with both phone numbers and perhaps some pointers to magazines. This is a good place to live and work. I've traveled lots of places in the US, and beyond. I find this a good place to be. Cleveland is worth checking out. Just a start, hope this helps. -- Macy M.
