Yes, another movie from the Int'l Film Society (the last one before
Thanksgiving break):

The Dreamlife Of Angels

Tale of a friendship
of two poor French women, from
begining to end

   Awards from all over the European continent went to director Erick
   Zonca feature length film debut, The Dreamlife Of Angels, including
   the C�sars (the French equivalent of the Oscars) for Best Picture and
   awards for the performances of the film's two leads, �lodie Bouchez
   and Natacha R�gnier, who also shared Best Actress honors at the Cannes
   Film Festival.

       Isa (Bouchez), a woman with nothing but what fits in her backpack,
           meets and quickly befriends Marie (R�gnier) while working in a
        sweatshop. Isa moves into a spacious apartment that Marie watches
     while its regular occupants sit comatose in the hospital (the result
    of a car accident.) Life becomes a series of adventures for the pair,
     with mischief, shoplifting, hitting on guys, until Marie meets Chris
      (Gregoire Colin), a wealthy club owner. Marie gets into a degrading
         relationshop with Chris, in exchange for the possible promise of
      stability, driving a wedge between the two friends, as Isa tries to
       warn her of the dangers involved.
