I've been writing lyrics for over 20 years and I've got a lot fo my stuff up
on this web at www.thelyrics.dabsol.co.uk.

I have a lot of audio tapes with me la la-ing kind of thing which have been
part of the creation process for writing the lyric. I've collaborated with
numerous musicians over the years inthe writing of songs, obviously I'm
biased but I feel I have a lot of good songs that marry well to my lyrics.

And so what kind of idiot proof software is there out there that I can use
to reasonably record the music that i have created and the end product
(obviously using a mic) be a rough recording of a song.

Idealy what I'm looking for is some kind of software which will allow me to
(without musical notation skills) tap at my keyboard to creat the tone,
pitch of the tone, duration of the tone etc etc. And for me to be able to
play that single 'track' of base say, and to build other tracks on top of
that.

Remember if you're replying to me to bare in mind taht I want the software
to be simple and to the point kinid of stuff.
