Hey Star Trek TNG fans,
Here is a link to this amazing little telephone answering machine for your PC. They have a sweet Star Trek theme on there so I thought I'd post it on this group.
Check this out, you can use you PC to record your telephone voicemail, your PC basically becomes your answering machine. If your PC is connected to the net you can check your voicemail via the internet! It just streams the wav file instantly. I can check my voicemail at work just by typing my ip address and then username/password.

You can also set it up so that you get an email or text message on your cel phone when you get a new voicemail message at home/office.

Custom greetings are cool too, it uses caller id to determine who's calling- you can set it up so that your mom gets a nice warm greeting and your buddies get silly obnoxious messages- text to speech is neat so you just type the custom greeting and your buddies will laugh!!

Anyway, I love this little app so I thought I'd share with my trek freinds, all you need is a modem to get it to work.
