Tables and conditional text (again)

Before I devote much more time to trying to solve these
problems, can anyone tell me whether they know of any bugs in
using conditional text that contains tables?  The sorts of
problems that I'm seeing are strange enough that I'm
beginning to suspect that it's a bug (and not something that
I'm doing incorrectly).

So, send mail to me, please, if you know of any conditional
text bugs.
