As a service to the CMU community, I would like to remind you that you are able to cast your vote in the next presidential election by absentee ballot. Notarization for absentee election ballots is provided free of charge. Voting procedures vary from state to state, so check out your state's home page or search for the department of elections for your home state on the world wide web. Some things to remember: Please DO NOT SIGN BALLOT until you appear before the notary. Be prepared to present current valid photo identification (driver's license, passport, etc). NOTE: Your campus/student id is NOT VALID (no signature). Respect the fact that notary business must come second to any CMU business. Call 268-3802 to schedule an appointment for notarization.
