java call stored procedure problem

I want to use java call DB2 stored procedure, 
The argument I want to pass to it was Null,
but I cant achieve it throught the follow code:

..
String sql = "{CALL " + procName + "(?)" + "}";
callStmt = conn.prepareCall(sql);

callStmt.setObject(1, null);
...

how should i do?
