The question is as the title. A few days ago, I wrote an applet which used the thin JDBC for ORACLE. The applet connect to a oracle database to get the sysdate of oracle. The thin JDBC is written in pure java code, it is downloaded from web server with the web page which contained the applet. The documents said that: using the netscape4.0, and thin JDBC, and oracle7.3, and the netscape 4.0x Java API (netscape.security.privilige Manager), the applet can access the oracle database which run on differrent IP (differrent IP with the web server). Unfortunately, I failed it. The netscape4.04 with JDK1.1.4 support said :" User didn't grant UniversalConnect privilige.", What I can do about it? By the way, book said that: Trusted applet can do connect to another IP. How to do it? Thanks a lot. -- [m[1;33m Դ:̺ bbs.dlut.edu.cn[FROM: 202.118.86.115][m
