I tried just now, and get the following result,
1.Even while you reopen Device No. 6 with another file,
you could use write(*,*) to ouput on screen.
2.After you close device No. 6, you can use write(6,*)
to ouput on screen, no need to reopen device No. 6.
This result is under DOS + MS Fortran 5.0. I don't know if
the other version of Fortran have difference.
