Here is ome information that shows how to use this dynamic allocation
for matrix code writing in a general way:
Type
BigData= array [0..High(cardinal) div sizeof($YOURTYPE)-1] of $YOURTYPE;
PBigData= ^BigData;
{$YOURTYPE is a variable type, such as Integer, Word, Byte.. etc }
# then you can define a variable as
aBigArray: PBigData;
# Use this function to allocate memory:
GetMem(aBigArray, SIZE AS YOU WISH);
# And use aBigArray^[index] to visit it:
aBigArray^[INDEX AS YOU WISH] := aValue;
# Remember to free the allocated memory:
FreeMem(aBigArray);
If you use 32 bits Delphi, you can use more than 64K memory.
