I am developing a project in VB5.
This project is a local Database application.
I choiced the ACCESS as the local DB.
But on the progress,I met some problems.
1.How can I define the reference constrain and integration at the design-time.
2.If I must define the delete-cascade at the run-time.
3.I used the "database" object in the program to execute the
Action-SQL(Insert,Update,Delete).But I can't trap the return code from the
DBEngine. So,I don't know if the action to the DB is complete OK or not.
For instance,I have delete a record from a table, actually the record I want
to delete isn't in the specfic table. But the VB5 executed the SQL statement
without any error returned.
4.I have met another thing. It is when I insert a record to the DB,use the
SQL statement,the VB5 report 3075 error to me.But,when I copy the "insert"
SQL statement into the program "Visdata",it can execute correctly.
Thanks.
A programmer.
