Talk Visual Corporation (talkvisual.com) is a leading force in B2B, internet-based wireless video streaming and conferencing. The stock is currently bouncing between 3 1/2-4. They recently purchased a controlling share in yak communications, a profit making company (see below). The inside rumor is that this stock will announce a 15 for 1 stock split in the next month. This announcement should drive the stock into the 20s. The current target price is 15. Below is an excerpt from the most recent press release: MIAMI, Mar 7, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- (OTC-BB:TVCP). TALK VISUAL CORPORATION's Chairman Michael Zwebner announced today that the company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire a majority interest in Yak Communications USA, Inc. (Yak-USA). Yak-USA owns 100% of Yak Communications Canada, Inc. (Yak-Canada) of Toronto, Canada. Yak is Canada's leading Dial-Around service, with rapidly growing revenues and profits of about $12 million (Cdn) annually. Talk Visual will purchase an initial 70% of Yak-USA for $8.4 million (USD) in preferred stock. A strike price of $3.875 for preferential shares was set in yesterday's LOI, which calls for an additional cash investment of up to $6 million into Yak at a later date. The investment will enable Yak to expand its existing operations in Canada and into the United States. Yak-USA will issue an additional 2 million shares from treasury to Talk Visual Corporation for the $6 million investment, which will increase Talk Visual's holdings in Yak-USA to 80%. All TVCP shares issued pursuant to the transaction will be restricted. Talk Visual will engage a major accounting firm to provide independent due diligence on the Yak operation and confirm the company's valuation.
