I use a computerized scan program that measures the interplay of volume and
price to identify stocks which are poised to break out.  I get about 2
dozen of them and then do some research to narrow down the list to 5 or 6. 
Then I just put my order in once they breakout and ride them up for nice
gains.  And then repeat over and over again.  Its fun and there is limited
risk when you buy when stocks just begin their breakout.  You can check out
