You have to remember that you're in Silicon Valley where computer stores are on every corner. Out here, CompUSA is just about the only thing around. There are a couple of independent computer stores that are only open 10-5 M-F, and places like Best Buy and Circuit City that don't really have much selection. CompUSA doesn't stay in business by virtue of being wonderful, they stay in business because they exist in all the places where there are no other computer stores. (And no one is exactly rushing to compete with them here, other than those independents that shut off the lights at 5 pm). Karen
