there are no affordable policies.

Fortis seems to be the best value, though. We spent a hell of a lot of time
researching this.  If you are, were, or are closely related to or married to
someone who was in the Service then get Fortis through USAA.

there aren't many good options in Colorado b/c of all the "consumer
protection" measures put in place by our legislature - though I think they
are working on de-reg. that industry.
