Today I received my second cord of firewood and again, it was a full cord,
maybe more. Those I've dealt with in the past toss the wood loosely in the
truck leaving empty spaces and you don't get a full cord.
This outfit is out of Monument, called "Mountain Farmer". They pack the
truck solid and the pile of wood I have now is huge. It is all dried, cured
and split. A cord is $100 but they do charge extra to deliver. It costs me
but it is still less than if I were paying utilities which I don't because
the furnace went out 4 years ago.
If you use firewood, give these folks a try. Norm, the guy who answers the
phone is a little hard of hearing but he's a sweetheart. Their number is
(719) 481-3922
