The religious idea of evolution is not so condensed, but the concept is 
ill conceived to start with.  There are so many logical holes in the 
system that you could push the whole universe through them.  But the 
same can be said about the Christian faith.  It depends upon whose book 
you put your faith in.

Many have and have concluded that while adaption to change is common 
within a species, the development of multiple species from a single 
organism over extended time is not possible.  So we have a difference of 
opinion.  So what?  I find that within my own faith there are many 
differences of opinion.  Yet we can get along with our common beliefs.

I have read both concepts and find them both with some incredible holes 
in them.    Usher is not THE authority on the Bible.  But neither is 
Sagan the authority on the origin of the universe.

I have to believe in a higher authority with the intelligence to create 
the universe.  I cannot believe it "just happened".
