No!  The extreme damage and desolation inflicted by Hurricane Sandy
is obviously too paramount to be distracted from by bogus "elections,"
criminal "party politics," or any other such greedy arrogant affairs
of gangsters and their lieutenants dressed in tailor-made suits.

Meanwhile, so a few professional spies, their accomplices, bystanders
(collateral damage), get "whacked" from time to time ... happens every
day.  But even such piddly events can attract journalistic coverage
from alternative news sources -- which are biased and sanitized like
all the rest of them.  But it's smart to get a second opinion, third
opinion, fourth, etc., and parse the reports with acute skepticism:

operation, a report says.
