Campbell compresses our inexplicable non-physical abilities to common developmental archetypes, renders history little more than a repetitive growth icon, and trivializes all human experience in the packing. That he did so under the umbrella of famously humanistic/socialist PBS is the most sublime charade of all. If he's your cup of tea I submit we've nothing on the boil.
