Vote "NO" on retention of county court judge Roy Olson

residents are urged to vote "NO" on the retention of county court judge
Roy G. Olson, Jr.

Firsthand accounts from those who have recently appeared before Judge
Olson reveal that he is a judicial activist (meaning that he will
disregard the law in order to further his personal philosophy or agenda)
and decidedly anti-gun.  In one specific instance, Judge Olson granted a
restraining order against a fellow gun owner, causing him to lose his
concealed carry permit, for an allegation of threat with a weapon that
occurred two years in the past and was never even reported to the
police.  Despite evidence presented to judge Olson also showed that the
petitioner for the restraining order had made other claims against the
defendant which Jefferson County authorities deemed unfounded, he
nonetheless issued the restraining order.  The case is currently under
appeal.

Judicial retention elections are just as important as other elections
this year (see the President's Column in the May/June issue of Colorado
Shooting).  If you want to keep anti-gun activist judges from stripping
gun owners of their rights, vote "NO" on the retention of Judge Roy
Olson, and urge your family, friends and neighbors to do likewise.
