Well maybe if we were really more informed about the processes that they
use to make thse things then maybe we would be in a better position to
boycott them. I used to work as a chemist and I personally would boycott
DuPont for the way they used to make teflon coatings. However I don't
know if they still do the same stuff or not. It used to be teflon
coating immersed in pure freon (bad for the ozone layer). The part you
wanted to have a teflon coating had to be dipped into the freon ....when
freon is exposed it evaporates quickly into the atmosphere and goes
straight to kill the ozone. But I think they changed it a little...but I
don't know. I am sure DuPont doesn't want us to know anyway.
