Become a Crew Leader in Ecological Restoration -2 dates in March
Two Chances to Become
a Crew Leader in Ecological Restoration
As a crew leader you will be ready to lead 3-9 people on our projects
to complete a section of the entire restoration project. Don't worry,
you don't have bring much know-how at all about restoration to be a
good crew leader - we'll teach you what you need to know and our
trained Technical Advisors will explain exactly how to get each job
done.
Crew leadership is a great way to multiply the value of your
stewardship efforts on public lands, build your professional
leadership skills, and help other volunteers have a rewarding and fun
experience!

Boulder/Broomfield
Sat and Sun- March 23-24
Spend two full days at this historic stage coach stop that Boulder
County turned into a working farm with protected open space all
around. We will spend part of our time inside the historic Goodhue
House learning principles and then travel outdoors to practice our
new restoration and crew management skills.

Fort Collins
Sat and Sun- March 30-31
If there was ever a restoration playground to learn and practice crew
leading, it would be beautiful Campbell Valley. This area outside of
Fort Collins has massive valleys eroded by unmanaged water flow over a
decade ago. We will spend the weekend learning a variety of
restoration techniques and crew management skills then put them to
use.
