Three Twins BroadBand (9:30pm) Originally formed at the start of the new millennium by three members of the Subdudes (John Magnie, Steve Amadee, and Tim Cook), the Three Twins Broadband grew in 2009 to include the 12 Cents for Marvin horn section, blues vocalist Nicole Zentveld, and guitarist Jay Clear. Tim Cook retired in 2011, and was replaced by Marty Rein on bass. Get ready for a rockin' shake-yo-thang good time!!! Maxwell Hughes (8pm) After winning the Battle of the Bands as a solo acoustic instrumentalist in 2004, Maxwell Hughes dream of becoming an accomplished musician started to become a reality. Since then, it has become commonly accepted that Maxwell is one of the finest musicians Colorado has seen. It can be honestly said that seeing Maxwell play in person is truly inspiring. Among the numerous talent competitions won by Maxwell, more recently, he was awarded "Best Solo Instrumentalist" in 2009/2010 at the FoCOMA, an accolade given to local guitarist, Dave Beagle in 2008. Lexi Shanley (7pm) Lexi Shanley was all of 14 years of age when she opened up the Singer/ Songwriter stage at the 2011 NewWest Fest here in Fort Collins. Judging from the size of the crowd, Lexi has made quite the impression on those who have heard her amazing voice, including the sagacious local musician and MC Cary Morin, who stated after Lexi's set that "History is being made here today". ShatterProof (8pm) Shatterproof is an alternative band from Fort Collins, CO with a classic history, writing and performing new music on a regular basis. In early 2012 they released their new EP "Running in Circles" recorded at backbone studios in Loveland CO. They have already played numerous shows with the new line up in 2012 at increasingly larger venues and gathering a larger following. New fans are falling in love with them daily. Don't miss out!
