TGuild
The Western Slope Visual Developers Association / User Group
{Western Colorado & Eastern Utah Area}

Mission: 
The mission of TGuild will be to provide a forum for Visual Developers where 
members can
* meet face to face with other developers with the same interests
* share information and techniques
* network for employment opportunities (consulting opportunities)

History and Organization
TGuild is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. 
TGuild will hold its first meeting on May 28, 1997 @6:30 pm. 
The first meeting will consist of officer selection , Articles & Bylaws 
preparation and schedule layout.

Members:
TGuild members will range in experience from novice to advance and represent 
many different languages and application 
environments. Members will range from enthusiasts to professionals and will 
consist of those who develop applications 
for employers, clients, or merely a hobby.  TGuild's knowledge base will 
continue to grow with time and experience.

Languages:
The following languages will be TGuild's emphasis.
* Borland's Delphi
* Borland's C++ Builder
* Borland's IntraBuilder
* Microsoft's Visual C++
* Microsoft's Visual Basic
* Microsoft's Visual J++
* Symantec's Cafe
In addition to these languages, many programming tools and accessories will be 
the topic of discussion.

Meetings:
Each monthly meeting will have a general session, a beginner's topic, and a 
presentation of an advanced topic or tool. 
The general session will include a section for attendees to make announcements 
and to ask specific questions.  
The advanced session will usually consist of either a TGuild member with 
exceptional experience or a guest speaker who 
shares experiences and insights on a wide range of language and application 
features.

Time: Last Wednesday of each month
