I have a similar problem re OMNIPAGE PRO 6. I'm using a HP 4c, and whilst everything seems to work fine on my desktop system, on my THINKPAD, connected to a DOCK II, OMNIPAGE will not detect the scanner. A SCSI scan from EZ-SCSI sees it, the TWAIN utility which comes with the HP works fine, so does the scan utility in EZ-SCSI. I have OMNIPAGE set to HP 3c with Accupage. One thing I have noticed which is different between the desktop and notebook is that in the SETTINGS panel, the scanner option has Accupage 3D greyed out - manual brighnesss is highlighted but can't be changed... -- David Longley
