AAITP offers a number of graduate scholarships in CASE! Amdahl Australian Intelligent Tools Programme (AAITP) is a joint venture between Amdahl Australia, La Trobe University and Prometheus Software Developments, formed with the aim of extending the concepts and constructing models for the state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) environments to be run under Unix with X windows. Our investigations focus mainly in the areas of user interfacing, hypertext and knowledge-based support for project planning and activity tracking, requirement analysis, design integrity and completeness checking, recording and critiquing design decisions, software reuse, configuration management, intelligent document repositories, executable specifications, etc. At the moment we have a total of 8 researchers, programmers, graduate students and support staff plus 4 hons students working on several aspects of the AAITP programme. There exist a number of AAITP projects that would provide suitable graduate students with an opportunity to join this team. We are pleased to offer up to 3 graduate scholarships in the range of $5,000 to $15,000 per annum to Computer Science graduates having a strong Software Engineering and programming background and who wish to undertake a full-time project/thesis based graduate programme (Msc or PhD). The AAITP research students may in addition qualify for the La Trobe University research scholarship for which they must apply separately. Enquires and applications with attached resumes and student records: Mr. Karl Reed AAITP, Director Dept. of Comp. Sci. & Comp. Eng.
