IDEAL is an annual conference dedicated to emerging and challenging 
topics in intelligent data analysis and engineering and their associated 
learning paradigms.

The conference received 167 submissions from throughout the world.  
Following the reviewing process, 76 papers were selected for 
presentation at the conference.  The conference will also include a 
number of invited speakers. The IDEAL'05 Proceedings will be published 
by Springer-Verlag in the prestigious Lecture Notes in Computer Science 
series.
