Excel 4.0 is really a pretty powerful data manipulation system (more
than 'just' a spreadsheet).  One of its advertised capabilities is the
ability to use ANY external DLL for computational, interface or other
purposes.  Some of the "advanced" analysis fuctions are obviously done
this way and the API is pretty well documented.

Is anybody actually USING this feature?
What for?
What have been your experiences?
Did you use your own DLL's or somebody else's?
