Indeed BALER (TM) is still a very active product. I'm a satisfied user.
It moved a few years ago from our hometown (Lafayette, IN) to near Chicago,
but they still give me adequate phone support when I need it (which is
seldom). Their address is :
Baler Software Corp.
1400 Hicks Road
Rolling Meadows, IL 60008
phone 708-506-9700
tech support is -1770
fax is -1808

Their products now include BALER XE, which is for those who need support for
addin things, like C code, etc.

I think the regular product is version 6. I bought XE but really use my
version 5.1. The thing gets better, but also bigger, and 5.1 has a smaller
runtime that suits me.

It works on LOTUS and LOTUS alick products. It bales quickly. Distribution
of your baled work with the runtime is freely allowed.

It allows making your program look like a program, not a spreadsheet, with
all kinds of fancy pulldown or popup menus if you like.

It provides security. I got it so my users don't HAVE to have the same
spreadsheet at me, and so I have full control over what they may do.
