I am looking for a macro or add-in which does some file managment for 
Excel 4.0. There is a macro which saves information on the spreadsheet as a 
hidden note with the XLS-file. But then I can't read these informations 
without loading the whole file.

SuperCalc 5 gave the opportunity to see the content of cell A1 for 
all the files in the subdirectory. I wonder if someone wrote a macro for 
Excel doing something similar.
