Excel screen flickering

I'm trying to write a macro that copies alot of data around on the
sheet. I would like the user to see a specific part of the sheet while the
copying is happening.

At the moment I goto each cell/block, copy to the clipboard, goto
destination, and paste. This causes alot of flickering and jumping around
on the screen.

Is there a way to copy cells/blocks from one area to another without the
user knowing it's going on?

  Thanks in advance!
