I'm not sure about Multiplan, but I've found a useful trick when
popping stuff out of Excel to other apps and back.  I select
"show formulas" in Excel and then save as text.  This gives me
a text file with the cell formulas in ascii format, tab separated.
The possibilities are endless :=)
