Mac spreadsheets with partitions of hidden data?

I have a problem that might be appropriately programmed on top of a
spreadsheet, but it needs to be structured in such a way as to hide
about 10 megabytes of commercially sensitive data. The user should
be able to read and edit their own data, but not the tables I provide,
and the application should at least make it prohibitively laborious to
recover the underlying data by calculation. Further, the spreadsheet
must be intelligent about what it saves to disk; the private stuff
won't change and multiple copies of it are out of the question, since
users will typically have hundreds or thousands of potential instances
of the spreadsheet.

Is there any Mac spreadsheet that supports this kind of data abstraction
and dynamic binding? Or do I give up on them and use a conventional
programming language and roll-your-own security-through-obscurity file
formats? (The level of security does not need to be mil-spec).
