Paradox 4.0 (FLImport.exe)

I just installed Paradox 4.0 and noticed that they did away with FLImport.
This was a useful fixed length file import utility that actually created or
appended records to an existing database file. It had a nice feature in that
you could actually name the fields. This was a really useful utility - particularly since some of my fixed length file are greater than 7MB and can have up
to 20 Fields.

Firstly: Have I missed the file - perhaps it has been renamed?
Secondly: If it really doesn't exist is there a simple alternative for
importing fixed length files? I really want to use Paradox
directly & not have to filter the data into eg. a comma delimited
format (too risky on the basis of extra errors & file space, and
the problem of naming the fields).

Why drop a perfectly good program - I am sure that they could have updated it
to Paradox 4.0 file formats. It really doesn't have to support memo fields or
Blobs. In fact, upon reflection, you could import ASCII data and later convert it to a memo field.
