Hi everybody ! Is it possible to use Greek alphabet in Excel 4.0? I know that it's possible to write them alone in one cell, but what I need is to use to different fonts in the same cell in order to write such things as alpha-particle, gamma-globulin, etc. I have tried to import such texts from WP for Windows and Word, but the Greek letters just seem to vanish somewhere. Anyone have any ideas how to do this? Timo Sallinen Medical physics University of Turku Finland

The best workaround is to create a text box the size of the cell, because text boxes allow multiple fonts. You can create a text box the exact size of a cell by holding down the Alt key while you drag. -- Joel Spolsky Program Manager / Microsoft Excel joelsp@microsoft.com
