123 current directory

Using xLotus 1.1 (@INFO("release") gives "3.00.01"). How can it respect your
shell's current directory at the time of invokation? The 123 Sun manual
glossary entry for "current directory" states:

"... or with the directory from which you started 1-2-3, which is used if
/Worksheet Global Default Dir or /File Dir have not been specified."

This implies a mode for this. How do you "unspecify" those two directories?
Deleting the configuration file fails.

This works: '(ln -s ~/.l123set>&/dev/null; setenv HOME $PWD; 123 )' and maybe
usually one can even live with any side effects.

Assuming this glossary entry is wrong, and the directory should be set from an
autoexec macro, is there a common initialization worksheet always loaded (when
it exists) whose autoexec macro can be used? I thought I recalled previous
posts regarding this. I know I can emulate it using the -w option.

Any pointers appreciated, thanks.
